I've been blogging about the Hinchey-Rohrabacher amendments over the years for over a decade. Finally, Congress has passed it!
Early Thursday morning, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Rohrabacher-Farr amendment to the Department of Justice's budget by a vote of 219-189. This is the first time in many attempts over the years that the amendment, which would restrict the Department of Justice from using taxpayer funds to interfere in state-sanctioned medical marijuana programs, passed the House.

I attended The Eighth National Clinical Conference on Cannabis Therapeutics in Portland Oregon May 8-10. The conference is put on by Patients Out of Time, of which I'm an advisory board member. While attending, I ran into my friend, Michael Bachara who filmed this for Hemp News.
