In Madison and Dane County, voters will find the referendum question on the reverse side of ballots. If you have not already voted, please make note when you cast your ballot.

ONLINE POLL: PLEASE VOTE- As I write, YES and NO are tied at 50% each in an online poll on the website of the Sun Prairie Star: "How will you vote Nov. 2 on the Dane County medical marijuana advisory referendum to direct state legislation allowing marijuana possession and use by individuals for medicinal purposes if supported by a physician?"
Please vote now at: (http://www.sunprairiestar.com/main.asp?SectionID=5&TM=71402.42&PollID=107#PollSection)

On Election night, Nov. 2, there will be a Victory Party for the Dane County MMJ Referendum at the Cardinal Bar in downtown Madison, beginning at 7pm. Members of the campaign committee for the advisory referendum will be monitoring and tabulating results and expect to have the first results by 8:30pm. The event will also be keeping an eye on other state and local cannabis ballot initiatives across the country from Massachusetts to California, where passage of Prop 19 would legalize and tax and regulate adult use. The Cardinal Bar is at 418 East Wilson Street, Madison.

Finally, Madison NORML is hosting a Celebration of Cannabis election victories on Sunday, Nov. 7 at the High Noon Saloon from 3-7pm. The event will feature three bands and speakers along with NORML vending and info. The High Noon is at 701 E Washington Ave Madison. More details at MadisonNORML.org soon.
