Howard Wooldridge of LEAP to speak in Madison July 21

Howard Wooldridge, a former police officer who is now an activist with the group, Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP) click here will be speaking in Madison on Thursday July 21 at the Madison Senior Center 330 W. Mifflin Street at 7p.m. The event is sponsored by the Progressive Dane drug policy task force and Madison NORML.
Wooldridge has been riding his horse cross country this summer and will be visiting Madison, Milwaukee and points in between as he works his way east. I will post more details here as I have them

Is the war on drugs good public policy?
Howard Wooldridge is a retired Michigan policeman. He has seen the huge effect on the justice system of the Drug War, the effect on urban communities, and the effect on our budgets. This summer, Howard is taking his message on the road, riding across America with his horse Misty and proudly wearing the shirt that says "Cops Say Legalize Drugs. Ask Me Why."
Howard Wooldridge will be speaking on Thursday July 21, 7 pm, at the Madison Senior Center at 330 W. Mifflin St. Madison.
Sponsored by Progressive Dane Drug Policy Task Force, Madison NORML, Four Lakes Green Party and UW-Madison Students for Sensible Drug Policy (SSDP).
